a multidisciplinary designer with a background in interior, furniture, and lighting design. My journey into lighting began through photography and set design, where I became fascinated by how light can shape a space, create an atmosphere, and tell a story.

Before moving to New York, I led the design team at Iqrup + Ritz in India, ran my own design practice, and taught design at Pearl Academy and GD Goenka University. I later earned my Master’s in Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, graduating with academic and departmental honors.

My work explores light as a tool to shape atmosphere, emotion, and spatial experience. I’m especially drawn to theater, where light becomes an integral part of storytelling. My approach to lighting is rooted in curiosity, observation, and a constant desire to notice and understand how light shapes the world around me.
